Hello everyone, I googled and I couldn't find anything I understood that was like my problem. I am running Fedora 21, with publican-fedora version 4.0 release 2.fc.21. Here is what I am finding: when I stage items in head with git, Publican will give me an error instead of building or cleaning. If I commit the changes, or continue to work on the files without staging them, Publican builds fine.

Here is the exact error I recieved when I staged a file and did a publican clean: Config file not found: publican.cfg. at /usr/bin/publican line 993.

Can someone point me in the right direction or tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thank you,

I haven't run into this one, unless there is in fact not a publican.cfg in the current working directory. Did you perhaps cd en-US before running publican commands?

Hi Randomuser, so far I only run the publican command in the root of my local repo: /home/glen/Documents/fedora/virtualization-getting-started-guide and the following files are there: ls beta.cfg en-US publican.cfg tmp zanata.xml

There is a bug report which sounds exactly like your problem. You may want to add your observations there.

As a workaround, you can use

git stash
git stash pop

in order to store your staged and worktree changes away temporarily.

This bug report is about running informative commands that might not require a publican project while outside of a publican project. Also, publican does not use make.
