I have a hp z400 workstation that I am trying to use with Fedora21 workstation. During installation the install gets to about 30% and then the pc turns off. I also tried fedora20 kde install and it does the same thing (turns off) never completing the installation. So I took out the disk and installed fedora21 workstation from a totally different piece of hardware (hp xw4600) and intall is sucessfull. So then I moved that harddrive back to the z400 (xeon processor). I can get the os to boot up and I login however it still crashes and powers off. I do not see any indication of a halt it just makes screen black and second or two later the power supply shuts off (click).

I have the original harddrive with 2k3 server on it and when using that disk the machine never turns off by itself.

In all my time working on machines this one has stumped me. I have never experienced anything like this before. I upgraded bios to latest but made no difference. Any help appreciated.
