Fedora 21 is very unstable

I just finished installing and loading Fedora 21 onto my machine. F21 seemed like a big improvement, splitting into different products, a new version of everything... Anyway, the first surprise is the boot time, several seconds above my older one and a new "hanging" stage with a black screen right before the login screen. My boot time before in total was about 17 seconds. Now:

Startup finished in 1.869s (firmware) + 1.845s (loader) + 3.211s (kernel) + 2.966s (initrd) + 14.204s (userspace) = 24.096s

I was like "Don't mind the boot time." I look at the login screen and there's no cursor!! I log in and log back out and the cursor returns. I switch to gdm to see if it changes anything and it takes about a minute to load.

Last of all, when I shutdown, sometimes the shutdown takes about two minutes. I know that's because of a service not shutting down, but I can't identify which. In F20, I had to empty the journal in /var/log. Unfortunately, that technique doesn't work anymore.

Basically, I have 2 questions:

a) can I revert back to F20 until this gets solved or b) can I fix this?

Do any of you have this same problem? (I've distro-synced many times)

Change to lightdm; I don't use anymore gdm, sometimes the video card doesn't work fine with gdm and Gnome. And the system takes too long to start.
