How do I create and edit the applications that i'd like to have run when I log into my Fedora account? (I am using Fedora21 with Gnome 3.14). For example I would like to start Transmission as soon as I log in.

Looks like gnome-session-properties does not exist anymore.

You should be able to install the gnome-tweak-tool from the repositories. This tool will allow you to define which applications you wish to have startup when the computer starts.

Use the GNOME Tweak Tool:

sudo dnf install gnome-tweak-tool

After installation, the Tweak Tool will appear in the Applications. Open it and go to "Startup Applications." There you can add any application on the software list to the startup list. On next boot, they will start as soon as you log in.

Thanks! I marked the other answer as correct just because he was first.

No problem. I didn't see the previous answer. It was probably on the moderation queue when I submitted mine.
