I've got a guy in the lab who is running Fedora but never used it before. It's configured on computer A and on our local network and when he runs tftp to get a file from his IBM box running solarwinds tftp he's able to GET the file he wants.

I had him run the systemctl status xinetd on the A computer and the box came back happy.

When he goes to a third computer B also running Fedora and tries the same GET command to retrieve a file from the Fedora A computer it just times out. Any suggestions?

Please confirm that the Fedora A computer is being used as the tftp server, your first paragraph reads like the Fedora A box is the client connecting to the solarwinds tftp server running on the IBM box.
