I've installed Fedora 21, and would really like to get my Fujitsu ScanSnap to work with it. What does work with look like ... I push the button on my ScanSnap and it feeds multiple pages of documents into a folder just like it did on Windows.

Any ideas?

I have a 7 year old Fujitsu ScanSnap and it works great with the program "simple-scan" on Fedora 20/21. You should be able to install "simple-scan" with "# yum install simple-scan".

simple-scan installed ... no errors, but it didn't detect the scansnap which is attached by USB. Any ideas?

Thank you!

Don't know. Works on my Fujitsu ScanSnap without any additional drivers. When I open the cover on the ScanSnap the software immediately recognizes the scanner. Maybe something on the newer scanners. Does the lsusb show the scanner?
