Everything is in the title. On two distinct computers I have a fresh install of Fedora 21 LXDE spin. In both 32 and 64 bit version logout does not work.

This seems to be a well known bug see

What can I do, besides switching my current login manager for slim ?

With all respect, isn't a bit strange to call this release final if such basic features are not correctly implemented ? I have been using Fedora for 10 years now and overall love it but I seriously consider trying something else because wasting my time on such elementary things is really upsetting.

UPDATE slim fails as well (logs out, but no login from there). But sddm works, the procedure

yum install sddm sddm-themes

systemctl disable lxdm

systemctl enable sddm

edit /etc/sysconfig/desktop

not clear how sddm deals with gnome-keyring but at least i can logout now.

Same with me here. Logging out in general appears to be broken. Gnome, KDE, lxde, none of those will let me exit.
