How to connect calendar california to Google calendar? [closed]

I am trying to connect the Gnome application california to my Google calendar. I chose the second option "Google Calendar" when trying to setup the connection.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work. It receive a "Forbidden - Error 403".

Any ideas?

Question is outdated. Integration of Google accounts in Gnome incl. California works fine using Online Accounts

Open System Settings: Online Accounts: and add your Google account. GNOME Calendar, California, Contacts, Documents, and other GNOME core apps will populate with data from Google. You can add other CalDAV/CardDAV servers as well using the interface for doing so inside the Evolution email client (it’s the back-end for much of this).

Update: Wrote a nice little article on how CalDAV/CardDAV is integrated in GNOME desktop for anyone interested.

No. At least not for california (ver 2.0) in Fedora 21. Otherwise, I would not have asked this question. But it works now... So, hopefully development of california continues...

Sure it does. California is built on Evolution data server Any calendar existing in EDS will have shown up in California.
