I have tried to download using terminal and on , there seems to be no such rpm available by my search. I have tried dnf install gcc and yum -y install gcc, but neither of them worked. Next, I tried compiling using gpp. It says gpp : command not found. Please help me.

Run the command in a terminal:

$ gcc
gcc: fatal error: no input files
compilation terminated.

If you get that output, then you have gcc installed in your system. If not, then do as others suggested:

$ sudo yum install gcc

and that should work, unless you have something wrong in your system.

You should put the output of the commands that you issued in order to find out what is going wrong.

Sorry for the trouble. There was a wiring problem somewhere and my ISP detected it recently. It was a h/w problem. Secondly, there are however some ftp mirrors that have respond.xml not updated. Like moka themes for f21. How should I approach that problem? I am making your answer as correct as it is closest possible answer in a software related issue..

Glad your problem is solved! About Moka, it isn't an official Fedora repository, so I recommend you to write to the guys that maintain those packages and ask them to fix the repository. Good luck!!

I can see gcc package. Just check in this path.

You sure you not have already installed gcc package? Also, try cleaning up repo metadata and try again to install

I tried to manually check the index of the aforesaid link... I couldn't find gcc package there either.
