Welcome ! I have just installed fedora 21 on the same disk as my preinstalled windows 8 (toshiba c850), but i did not know that i have to disable fastboot or whatever it is called on windows. Now it doesnt show up in grub, and i cant fix my mistake... Tried slightly altered solution listed here : solution More precisely, part 2 of the yellow solution, only ive changed one bit from this: menuentry 'Microsoft Windows 8' { set root='hd0,gpt2' chainloader /EFI/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi boot } to that : menuentry 'Microsoft Windows 8' { set root='hd0,gpt4' chainloader /EFI/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi boot } becouse im pretty shure thats where my windows partition is. Then i proceeded with the solution (for UEFI boot), there is now a Windows 8 entry in grub, it doesnt do anything though... Any way to fix it now ?

Moreover, i`ve tried to change sda4 flag to boot in gparted, doesnt work.

Also, ive read that you can acces windows recovery by pressing 0 while turning on the laptop, doesnt work.

And last but not least, its a fresh fedora install, so if i can fix it by installing it again in different way - no problem :)
