Initially Shotwell worked fine with my phone. One thing it did was pop up a window on my phone Trust / Don't Trust. One Time I fat fingered this and answered Don't Trust. Now I no longer see this window at all.

When I open Shotwell, Shotwell will see and display the images of my photos. However, Shotwell fails on import of any picture.

This is what I see in the log:

IMG_0001.JPG error message: [-107] Error retrieving file object for /store_00010001/DCIM/834DMFSR/IMG_0001.JPG: Unknown error

I've opened up Nautilus and verified the phone was mounted and I can manually get the pictures and copy the item.

Any suggestions

I have the same issue, i used to be able to import in to shotwell even if I didn't trust the iphone, but recently in the last month it's not working. Iphone 4s, using ios 8.1.2. I am using fedora 19, fully updated to the date of this post. shotwell installed shotwell-0.14.1-1.fc19.1.x86_64. I also tried the same on another iphone4s with ios 8.1.2 on the same fedora pc, still the same issue.
