I'm sorry that I don't know how to correctly state my problem (if I knew this a google-search would probably reveal much), but I'm trying to paraphrase it:

I want to use VNC to remotely show to an other person how certain things work. That is, when I connect via VNC, I want to control the same workspace or desktop the one on "the other end" does see, so they can comprehend what I'm doing. Sadly, when I'm connecting, I see just the (Xfce) Desktop but it's like an extra workspace. I tried setting the workspace count to 0 -though I didn't expect that to work. Do I need to change the

systemctl start vncserver@:DESKTOPNUM

? Or ain't that possible (like ssh can't connect to the same session)? If so, is there an alternate protocol? I'm running the latest fedora desktop Xfce-spin + tigervnc.

I'ld appreciate any help

vnc server use other port 5900~ it's a normally use or set port 5900~5905

 root@orion ~]# vncserver
New 'orion:1 (simmon)' desktop is orion:1
 Starting applications specified in /root/.vnc/xstartup
 Log file is /root/.vnc/orion:1.log

A. Just use vncserver it must be installed a program liak a tigervnc.

B. open in firewalld for vncserver

  # firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=5900-5905/tcp
  # firewall-cmd --reload

C. To use vnc, the client must also have the vnc viewer installed, and that port must be opened.

D. increase secure - If you can maintain a stable network, you can use vpn for security and stability to use more stable service and security.
