Welcome to ask.fedora. Please read the rules and don't post the same question more than once. All posts are moderated right now, meaning that your question won't show up until a moderator accepts it. And, most people don't like posts in ALL CAPs as it looks like shouting. I do hope that you get your homework done on time, and continue to use this forum, both to get help and to give back. As far as finding out what version of Fedora you're using, run this command in a terminal: uname -r and look at the response. If you're using F 19, the output will include fc19, if F 20, fc20.

You put the answer in your question - the command is groupadd. Open a terminal and type man groupadd for instructions on using it.

@mkpestcontrol - Even though @randomuser spelt it out for you, I must add that this is one of the more basic Linux questions that must've been answered millions of times on the internet. Did you google at all? If you're attempting to use Ask Fedora as a shortcut to your homework, people will soon realise this and stop helping out ;)

The answer to the question lies here - http://google.co.uk/search?q=linux+add+group
