F21 Beta cockpit installed, not possible to connect on localhost:1001

I install cockpit according to the F 21 docs.

systemctl -t service shows the service running

but I am not able to connect on http://localhost:1001

Any idea what is wrong?

did you reboot after the install ? i remember some instruction asking for it

the procedure from fedora wiki

  • sudo yum install --enablerepo=updates-testing cockpit
  • sudo systemctl enable cockpit.socket
  • sudo systemctl start cockpit
  • sudo firewall-cmd --add-service=cockpit
  • sudo setenforce 0 # fixed in rawhide

you are using http://localhost:1001 this is not the right address on my fc21 installation

I used the setup from the wike like in your answer and rebooted. I also turned off the firewall
