Error message during installation.
failure: Pages/g/gnome-themes-standard-3.10.0-1.fe20.i686.rpm from anaconda :[Error 256] no more mirrors to try.

I am trying to install Fe20 onto a Toshiba laptop satellite pro c700 which was happy running Win7 until my son decided that Fedora is the future. Having attempted to find an i386 version without apparent success as files from the i386 iso appear to include i686 files - confused - I am. Any advice would appreciated

Did you already try "yum clean all"?

The "i386" packages from Fedora are not runnable on pure i386 hardware for quite some time now (due to CPU flags etc.). Thus they were renamed from i386 to i686. However both is still 32 bit Intel architecture. So if you have a 32 bit hardware/system or expect that, i686 is fine for you.

A little more information on your issue would help: what media are you using? Is this a netinstall?

Thanks - FranciscoD_ Update - have managed to 'complete an installation' however the screen does not have any text or pictures only a grey shape on a dark blue background. This I assume is due to the video drivers not being installed = old laptop. Incidentally the only media which gave this result was netinstall. I know that a system is there as I can guess the position of the password box and a second screen is displayed however this is also only a mixture of different grey or dark blue squares.
