Can't switch huawei e303h-1 into Modem mode
HI,
I have tried a lot to install the huawei e303h-1 3G Modem but I didn't succeed, this is because Fedora recognize it like a usb storage, I searched the internet for a solution to this issue but didn't find one  I tough that the absence of the definition for this USB in this file /lib/udev/rules.d/40-usb_modeswitch.rules that cause this problem so I added this line # Huawei E303 ATTRS{idVendor}== »12d1″, ATTRS{idProduct}==« 15ca», RUN+= »usb_modeswitch ‘%b/%k' » , unfortunately this was not working :? Linux always recognize it like a usb storage ... Please Help me,
Thanks Dear Friends :)
What version of fedora do you use? When you connect your modem, does a pop up appear from the bottom? Also post the output of
dmesg
