Hi Everyone,

I hope someone can help I am new to Fedora and I am working in the Command Line and I am trying to get X11 (or X server whatever it is called) to work with a keyboard

I start a program of mine by doing startx ./npos and this loads my software in and works fine apart from the keyboard is not working at all.

Can someone advice me on what I can try to get this working as I am NEW to linux.

X is looking for a conf file /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/00-keyboard.conf

it should be here by default, which fedora version are you using ?

# Read and parsed by systemd-localed. It's probably wise not to edit this file
# manually too freely.
Section "InputClass"
        Identifier "system-keyboard"
        MatchIsKeyboard "on"
        Option "XkbLayout" "us"
EndSection
