i am installing fedora 20 on my dell inspirion 15 along with pre installed Windows 7 as a dual boot system. Both windows and Fedora are required for college courses , so no just chucking windows. I have a Toshiba 300GB hard drive. I have partitioned it via windows as 12GB Fat 32, as drive "D"and the rest as"C"in NTFS. When running the LiveCD of Fedora in install to hard drive mode the set up does not recognize the partitions..just the disk as a whole. How do I get the Fedora install on to the 12GB drive?

At the time of partition 12GB disk is not necessary to format (FAT32 or NTFS)

I do not remember the option, but for that you need to select the partition you have 12 GB, and select delete partition, the result must be an unallocated space of 12 GB and ready, just restart the machine with the LiveCD and you can install fedora .
