Hello All, I have two issues: 1- two hard drives with the same (one was a copy of the other a while back). I like to access one from the other but it seem complex more that what I can handle ... its using FC 11 with LVM.

2- to solve the above problem, I downloaded FC 20 and tried to install it on the big hard drive that is crashed with FC 11. every thing seem went ok, but was very slow ... not sure why it was very slow ... in compare to FC 11 ... so, when done came to reboot and was surprised that there is no GRUP entery for FC 20. only the old list is there. I was hopping to get FC20 install though I could be on the latest Fedora and also can access the crashed FC 11 to retreive files... now I'm stuck and here to get help/suggestions.

I have tried to re-install the FC20 again yesterday and was slower ... not sure why, it took almost the whold day and still no boot record. the hardware is 64bit. your suggestion help would be truley appreciated.

1.Taking whole day for a fresh F20 installation is TOO MUCH. Specially, if you are installing from a live version, the installation should be very fast. Your disk might be broken. Can you run dmesg during the installation and post the output here? Are you using F20 live disk or installation disk?

2.Make sure that you've selected the hard disk with F20 as the main disk to boot from in your BIOS settings. Your BIOS is probably booting the system from the other hard disk.

Finally, if all you want is to access Fedora 11 data, you can do it using a Fedora 20 live disk/usb without installation.

Yeah, my install barely took 15 minutes.
