# Occasionally in Fedora 16 KDE, I get a message box that pops up informing me of the following: Configuration File "/home/Sumit/.kde/share/config/dolphinrc" not writable. Please contact system administrator.

This message also comes with other configuration files. To work again with the configuration files, I have to restart the system. Then system ask to run the fsck for repairing the file system: /dev/disk/by-uuid/e2cc..... I have run the chown command to change the ownership of configuration files: chown Sumit:Sumit /home/Sumit/.kde/share/config/dolphinrc chown Sumit:Sumit /home/Sumit/.kde/share/config/* But, It didn't work for me. I have also tried chmod command: chmod 777 /home/Sumit/.kde/share/config/* But, still I am helpless. Please anybody tell me how to resolve this issue.

What is the output of ls -l dolphinrc?
