I have dual booted windows 8 and fedora 20. When i try to access a ntfs partition in fedora, it is asking for authentication and after typing my password, it shows the error as http://pastebin.com/Ry5DA8e5 . I want fedora to mount those drives easily without asking for password...Please help

Hi! Welcome to Ask Fedora. As the error says, the filesystem appears to be in use by windows. Have you shut down windows properly? You cannot use the drive if your windows system is in hibernation. It must be shut down. Please log into windows, shut it down cleanly and then retry.

While you're here, please take a minute to go through the Ask Fedora guidelines here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Ask_fedora_guidelines

Then I'd suggest running a file system check using Windows. Something is still holding on to the file system according to the error.

The default shutdown button, does not actually full shutdown Windows. Did you shutdown following a procedure? Have a read here.
