unable to install xorg-dev g++ and xgraph on fedora 20

when i run "sudo yum install xorg-dev g++ xgraph" on fedora 20 it says No package xorg-dev available. No package g++ available. No package xgraph available. Error: Nothing to do

It looks like you are probably following instructions from some other OS to build some software. What software are you building? Maybe there's a better way.

Yes, because Fedora doesn't have packages with these names. For g++, you should install gcc-c++ package. xgraph is simply not available in Fedora repositories. And for xorg-dev, we don't have any pacakge with this name in Fedora. You can find the list of packages which are similar using yum list "*xorg*devel*". However, I guess that you are looking for xorg-x11-server-devel package. So you need to run:

yum install gcc-c++ xorg-x11-server-devel

Note: Package names differ between different distributions.
