Can I ask questions related to rawhide on Ask Fedora?

For those that aren't aware, Rawhide is the code name given to the tip of our development tree, and this is only for testing purposes. If you're an advanced user that would like to help test Fedora, please run Rawhide on a separate test machine.

All questions related to Rawhide should go to the Fedora Q&A team - either on their irc channel: #fedora-qa on Freenode, or their mailing list. Rawhide has only one primary purpose - testing. It is not meant to be used for day to day usage. You're expected to be an advanced user that can troubleshoot a system satisfactorily if you're using Rawhide. You're also expected to keep up with the discussions related to Rawhide on the various mailing lists - including the devel and test-announce mailing lists. Most importantly, you're expected to report bugs - either to the Bugzilla instance and Q&A team and preferably to the relevant package upstream.

You can ask questions related to Rawhide here, but more often than not, we'll have to direct you to the Q&A team.

No you cannot.

Rawhide is always under hard development. Intended for use by developers - testers ...etc. Various bugs could affect the Rawhide branch and none of its problems can be asked/reported here.

The users of Rawhide should be asking for help at related IRC channels

and reporting bugs at the relevant service.

Such questions (about development branch) must be closed as Off-Topic , because bugs and problems with Rawhide should always be reported at Bugzilla and discussed at the relevant IRC channels , so developers can track and fix any issues.

I wouldn't put power users in that group. Rawhide is available specifically for testing. Experience alone doesn't mean one should use rawhide, if you aren't actively participating in Fedora developent and testing, you're better off using a stable release.

Minor edit - "power users" removed :)
