Hello, I've installed Fedora 20 into 32GB USB 3.0 pendrive. Sometimes during normal work system is freezing for few secs and then restarts. Also USB is getting pretty hot quickly. Besides that system runs very well. I believe that there is some indexing service that clogs the system (I already disabled tracker service). Is there any why to increase performance of Fedora booted from USB (live USB was working very well). Maybe there is possibility to load whole system to RAM (i got 8GB)? Or maybe there is other solution? Any help would be appreciated

I use sandisk exreme 16GB (55MB write speed) and FUDUNTU. Very fast and NO HEAT. 32GB is twice faster. I use HP DV7 with 8GB RAM. I am not sure if linux can use all of the RAM.

After trying all popular distros I installed PCLINUXOS on 32GB flash drive and SEAGATE USB3 USBHDD 500GB. I set RADEON GPU to switch at bios. Neither PC nor devices get HOT. This update done using linux booted from USB.
