I am using a huawei E3121 3g modem and vodafone India sim to set up an internet connection . While I am easily able to establish a Mobile Braodband connection using the above in all version of windows as well as ubuntu 12.04.4 there seems to be some problem while trying the same on fedora 20. The Mobile Broadband Shows up as an option on Network Manager but the sim doesn't get registered and while attempting to connect it shows up limited connectivity ( the bars appear yellow and with a cross ). Please help me to establish a mobile broadband connection on fedora successfully

Thank you All Dave

You can try this. 1) Connect the modem. 2) When a small window pops up from the bottom, press "eject" in it! 3) Give it couple of seconds and then click on the power button menu on the top right panel. 4) If the "Mobile Broadband" is displayed, then create a new profile for your vodafone network operator and save it!

If you don't get your network provider then it is realy a problem. Search this problem in google and see your device manual for supported operating systems.
