Ubuntu has published packages to fix this problem: How To Mount iPhone Or iPad With iOS 7 In Ubuntu 13.10 - . Bug causes an infinite "Trust this Computer" loop when attempting to mount iPhone or iPad. When will Fedora be publishing a fix?

If you find bugs, the right place to report them is Bugzilla.

When you report the bugs, you will likely get a better idea on when a fix can be made available from the maintainers of those components.

I've run into this issue with iPhone 6 IOS 8.02? Initially worked with Shotwell.

Shotwell will mount the phone and show the thumbnails. However, attempts to import all result in 0 kbyte files written in the pictures folder. And error messages that the image could not be access on the device.

Hi, I did all these steps, and still cannot mount iPhone 5 on Fedora 20. Anything new since April (when the last post had been published)?

I'm watching for this fix, too. The package needed for this to work is libimobiledevice 1.1.6, which is in the Ubuntu PPA.

Right now the libimobiledevice in Fedora 20 is 1.1.5.

I hope that there will be a new version of libimobiledevice in Fedora 21, but I don't know if one will move before that.

In order to keep an eye on libimobiledevice, I suggest monitoring the package in Koji:
