Hello: Running F19 wifi worked no problem, then upgraded to F20 and wifi seems to be installed but not working.

I don't use Network Manager, pure scripts and the old ones for wpa_supplicant and ifup-ifcfg-wlan0 are the same

Here are the details:

ps -ef | grep wpa root 671 1 0 13:26 ? 00:00:00 wpa_supplicant -B -Dwext -iwlan0 -c/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf -f /var/log/wpa_supplicant.log

WPA supplicant is running on boot

sudo lshw

*-network DISABLED description: Wireless interface product: Centrino Wireless-N 1030 [Rainbow Peak] vendor: Intel Corporation physical id: 0 bus info: pci@0000:01:00.0 logical name: wlan0 version: 34 serial: 58:91:cf:4d:48:29 width: 64 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: pm msi pciexpress bus_master cap_list ethernet physical wireless configuration: broadcast=yes driver=iwlwifi driverversion=3.13.6-200.fc20.x86_64 firmware=18.168.6.1 latency=0 link=no multicast=yes wireless=IEEE 802.11bgn resources: irq:45 memory:c2500000-c2501fff

network interface is listed at disabled yet the light on wifi button is on

sudo ifconfig

IT seems to be up, but no network connection

here is sysctl output

sudo systemctl status network.service network.service - LSB: Bring up/down networking Loaded: loaded (/etc/rc.d/init.d/network) Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Mon 2014-03-17 14:06:15 MDT; 1min 27s ago Process: 3143 ExecStart=/etc/rc.d/init.d/network start (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)

the kmods seem to be up and working

what is wrong with my setup?

Thank you,

Dave
