You probably want to add the rpmfusion repo, just like mastershadow recommended. More info: http://rpmfusion.org/
After that, you can install the relevant gstreamer packages, and your favorite video player should work. Popular ones are VLC and mplayer. I think the right codecs get installed if you 'yum install mplayer' (after you've enabled the rpmfusion repos, of course).
