how to create a wifihotspot in fedora 20 xfce

i have sony vaio e series laptop with fedora20 xfce running on it . i want to know how to creaate wifihotspot so that i can share my mts modem internet with my android device. thankyou

You have

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/RealHotspot

and hostapd

http://w1.fi/hostapd

http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Documentation/hostapd

rpm -q hostapd
hostapd-0.7.3-5.fc17.x86_64

but you need a wifi drive that support AP mode. So check it first.

iw list

need something like :

  Supported interface modes:
           * IBSS
           * managed
           * AP
           * AP/VLAN

but this depends on drives , for example my wifi drive:iwlwifi (Intel wireless something) doesn't have AP mode, so I can't enable it. you also can create wireless adhoc mode but androids doesn't connect to adhocs by default !, for androids is much more easy have one AP Mode
