Hello, II recently installed Fedora 20 on a laptop previously running Windows 7. I deleted all of the files on the drive and now the drive doesn't show up in the list of compatible drives. I think this is a problem with the hard drive drivers. Please correct me if I'm wrong. The basis is that I want to install Fedora 20 on my main hard drive, but it is not showing up in the list of drives.

What is the filesystem at the Hard Drive ? If you don't have formatted the HDD with a filesystem or created any partition, then format it and try again.

Are you still able to log in to windows? If so, then you must first go to control panel, search "partition" and free the space and delete the required drive or partition so that it becomes UNALLOCATED. Once that is done, you can then start the general installation procedure.

If you are not able to log in to Windows and havent written anything on the drive where the system files are installed then you can simply reset Windows which option is easily available for Windows 8, but that option might be available for Windows 7 as well. After this the above mentioned steps can be followed.
