Can we avail softwares from ubuntu centre for fedora. ?

No we cannot. We cannot install .deb packages in an .rpm based distribution neither the opposite. Some tools for conversion/tweak are exist, but I wouldn't suggest the usage, never !

Try to use what your distribution offers. Also, third party repositories are exist with lot of packages, extra packages, that are not exist in official repositories (for various reasons - most for license). We are talking about thousands of packages, here.

If you have any specific package that you want to install and you have seen it in Ubuntu, but not found in Fedora , let us know.

No. It's a ubuntu software center. It isn't a generic Linux software center. Most software that ubuntu provides is available in Fedora. Use yum search to look for them.

There will of course be software that is available in Fedora and not in Ubuntu and vice-versa. This happens because no one from the communities uses the software enough to package and maintain it.

There are also third party repositories which will get you other non foss software. Fedora does not ship any information about these at all.
