I can't seem to update Fedora because of this error. Does anyone know what can be done to solve this?

Here's some output:

--> Processando dependĂȘncia: system-release >= 21 para o pacote: rpmfusion-free-release-21-0.1.noarch --> Processando conflito: generic-release-20-2.noarch conflita com fedora-release Error: generic-release conflicts with fedora-release-20-1.noarch

Why do you have the generic-release package installed? It's meant to replace the fedora-release package if you cannot use fedora for some reason:

[asinha@ankur-laptop ~]$ sudo dnf info generic-release
Available Packages
Name : generic-release
Arch : noarch
Epoch : 0
Version : 20
Release : 2
Size : 30 k
Repo : updates
Summary : Generic release files
Licence : GPLv2
Description : Generic release files such as yum configs and various /etc/ files that
: define the release. This package explicitly is a replacement for the
: trademarked release package, if you are unable for any reason to abide by the
: trademark restrictions on that release package.

[asinha@ankur-laptop ~]$

Remove the generic-release package and you should be fine.

I don't even have it installed, believe it or not. Turns out I realised my installation was kind of broken, so I reinstalled Fedora and now it's ok :D

It looks like a conflict with the RPM Fusion repository. To temporarily bypass it try:

yum update --disablerepo=rpmfusion*
