Hi, I would like to change the password for my keyring - it's different from my login password and I don't want to enter a second password after login ever time.

It can be done with seahorse.

  1. Ensure you have seehorse installed (if not sudo yum install seahorse).
  2. Start seahorse (from a terminal or using Passwords and keys app from launcher).
  3. View -> By keyring (this is a tricky point!).
  4. Right click on your keyring and choose Change Password.

I use the KDE Spin and kept scratching my head because changing the kwallet password did not have any effect. Now I know why. Thank you!
