Fedora no longer supports f17 and i cant upgrade my fedora 17 to newer versions with yum. and when i use fedup terminal shows these: fedup --network 18 setting up repos... No upgrade available for the following repos: fedora updates Error: can't get boot images. The installation repo isn't available. You need to specify one with --instrepo.

FedUp (FEDora UPgrader) is the name of a new system for upgrading Fedora installs in Fedora 18 and later.

For upgrades to Fedora 17 and earlier, the recommended installation method is with a boot media with the Anaconda installer as detailed in the Installation Guide or via PreUpgrade. PreUpgrade is a slightly different upgrade method where all the packages are downloaded before the system is rebooted into the Anaconda installer.
