How to create & maintain LVM partitions in Fedora20 ? YUM is unable to find "system-config-lvm" from repos.

Sadly system-config-lvm has been unmaintained for a long time and therefore it was dropped in F19.

It is/was indeed a good tool and the last version of it is still available on the F18 and Centos repositories.

Please take a look at man 8 lvm and you will find a brief description of the command line utilities (pv*, vg* and lv*).

There is also a Fedora 19 build on koji: - i used that successfully on Fedora 19, maybe still working on 20.

It appears to still compile and work correctly. I suggest downloading the src rpm on koji and doing an rpmbuild --rebuild on it rather than relying on an RPM built using different library versions as links.

Disks utility works with raid. Perhaps it works with lvm as well.
