Hi, I upgraded from FC19 to FC20. In FC19 KDE, the Network Manager would register the huawei E1752 3G modem and I could use it to dialup the cellular data network. But since the upgrade I am having no success using any modem.

I notice that using lsusb the modem is identified as E173 and Not E1752. Also when modeswitching attempts I see product id of 1446, while lsusb gives me a product id of 1436. Further does the modemmanger fails with the org.freedesktop.ModemManager1 service, saying no such file or directory. However the file does exist, renaming the file as per suggestion from some links, resolves the error, but it seems then that modeswitching then does not occur, which almost makes sense, since the service has been manually removed in the rename.

Please advise

I just don't know enough and wehre to look to see what changed apart from FC20 now using plasma-nm widget to administers as the network admin gui

Same Problem here, with a HUAWEI 770 internal modem ("12d1:1404 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.")
