Now on Youtube on Firefox 26 you can play h.264 HTML5 videos using a gstreamer plugin. Apparently I have every gstreamer plugins installed (0.10 and 1, good bad and ugly), but Firefox doesn't recognize it, and there's no media.gstreamer.enabled on about:config. How do I get it working?

Firefox in Fedora is built without gstreamer support, they're waiting for proper gstreamer1.0 support in Firefox upstream https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=843583#c14

EDIT: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=843583 has now been resolved and the latest firefox package - firefox-26.0-6.fc20 - is now built with gstreamer 0.10 support (see the bug report for more details).

14th June 2014 - Edit:

Starting with version 30.0, Firefox is built with gstreamer1.0 support instead of the gstreamer0.10.

Hi

On Firefox 26 in Fedora 20 is not now activated media.gstreamer by default, previously you had to set media.gstreamer.enabled to true in about:config
