How do I remap the PrtSc key?

I'm using Fedora 19 Schrödinger's Cat with KDE. I'm trying to remap the PrtSc key to work as "\" when pressed and "|" when pressed with shift. To that end, I input the command

xmodmap -e "keycode 107 = backslash bar"

which did not work. With xev I discovered that something was stealing the focus when I pressed PrtSc. Easy enough, it was KDE's PrintScreen thingy; I went to "Custom shortcuts" and disabled. Now the key almost works -- gives me an inverted slash when pressed, but also when pressed with shift. Nothing that I could find managed to change this behaviour. And this command does assign the correct action to shift when used with other keys. Any ideas?
