Ciao, a tutti sono nuovo del forum un saluto a tutti , ho da poco installato Fedora Core 19 sul mio portatile lenovo b590. Non viene riconosciuta la scheda di RETE WIRELESS BROADCOM CORPORATION BCM43142 802.11B/G/N (REV 01) Potete indicarmi i passi necessari a farla funzionare correttamente ? Vi ringrazio in anticipo.

Hello everyone, i'm new in this forum, and i salute you all. A while back i installed Fedora Core 19 in my laptop Lenovo b590. It didn't recognized my wireless card BROADCOM CORPORATION BCM43142 802.11B/G/N (REV 01).

Can you please tell me the necessary steps to make it work?

I have a Macbook with a similar card: Broadcom Corporation BCM4331.

This is what i did to install it:

1 - wget http://mirror.yandex.ru/fedora/russianfedora/russianfedora/nonfree/fedora/releases/19/Everything/i386/os/b43-firmware-5.100.138-1.fc17.noarch.rpm

2 - sudo rpm -Uvh b43-firmware-5.100.138-1.fc17.noarch.rpm

3 - reboot

Altough the package says FEdora 17 it worked just fine on my Fedora 19
