Hi there erveryone

Since I am running Fedora 19, with an Amd Hd 4200 grafic card and Minecraft isn't running that good, I have looked around if I can find some better grafic card triver. (I have an Toshiba Statelite C660)

Fedora comes with the xorg x11 drv ati and in rpm fusion there it is an xorg x11 drv catalyst 13.9.1. And in the description it says: " supported are the Radeon HD 2xxx series to the Radeon HD 6xxx series" So i was woundering where is the difference between the two driver and if the catalyst one is better.

ATI is the standard open-source Radeon driver while Catalyst is ATI proprietary driver. The open-source driver is usually slower for 3D, but it went a long way in recent years and is only slightly slower than the Catalyst, while providing superior 2D performance and being hassle-free when it comes to installation (no installation required).
