Yesterday, I uninstalled my GNOME and installed KDE.But I'm unable to get lightdm-kde working, where as kdm works fine.. I installed lightdm-kde and ran the command $sudo systemctl enable --force lightdm.service after rebooting, the display manager do not start? I don't like kdm much..

Use the tool "system-switch-displaymanager".

No, system-switch-displaymanager won't work. Because it too internally runs systemctl enable --force displaymanager.service. There seems to be some problem with lightdm-kde.

Use the comment box, please. Posting a response as an answer just makes it look like your question has two viable answers instead of one that you think won't work, and helpers will be less likely to help you.
