I tried to right-click the playlist, and nothing happened. I also tried the context menu key, and nothing happened. The context menu did come up in other places, like on track listings.

I also tried a different media player, Exaile, but that also didn't have a burn option.

Did I fail to set something up so that these apps could burn discs? I googled this a bit but didn't see anything - it looks like both of these apps should have a burn option.

I did finally burn the cd using brasero, which I didn't have installed at first.

EDIT: I can't post comments to the answers, so I'll add some info here. I tried yum install rhythmbox-plugin-cdrecorder, but there is no such package available.

Sorry about my wrong previous answer, second attempt:

The way I burn cds with rythmbox is by creating a playlist, and then rightclicking on the playlist and select create audio cd. Does this work for you?

Maybe you need the rhythmbox-plugin-cdrecorder package, do you have it? try yum install rhythmbox-plugin-cdrecorder
