Hi, i've just installed compiz (and with much problems i could install gtk-window-decorator) but i have another doubt.

I have fedora 19 and obviously its window manager is Xfwm4, if i select in compiz the gtk-window-decorator (Select Window Decorator) i will have same theme that as if i hadn't compiz (i mean, xfwm4 default theme) but when such option is activated window manager doesn't works, i got to change in compiz (Select window manager) Xfmw4 to can modify options, but of course, the changes doesn't modify gtk-window-decorator, this still giving me the default theme, i've tried a lot of things, like change on window decorator (compiz options) "gtk-window-decorator --metacity-theme "Agualemon" --replace" for example and doesn't works...

Also i've tried to "play" with gconf but that program doesnt show me anything, i mean there's no option, just gnome and anything about window's manager...

Somebody to help me? Greetings.

Xfwm4 is a window manager and will not work with compiz as compiz is also a window manager.if you want to run compiz standalone.then do this create a file like(remember NOT to put "&" after the 'compiz ccp') i use cairo dock you can use any other

$ sudo nano /usr/local/bin/

cairo-dock &
/usr/libexec/polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 &
/usr/lib/gnome-settings-daemon/gnome-settings-daemon &
pulseaudio &
compiz ccp
gtk-window-decorator --replace &

$ sudo chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/

plus create another file

$ sudo nano /usr/share/xsessions/compiz.desktop

[Desktop Entry]
Comment=Compiz Fusion Standalone
