Apache Permission

Please can anyone help me with how to give php and apache permission to upload files and to write files am using federo 19 and am quite new to linux. Thanks.

Apache needs write permissions to the directories (and all it's parent directories) that you intend to use as upload locations. Added reading:

man chmod

In addition to chmod, you should also look into SELinux to enable write access for httpd to your directories.
