how to know which pdf was reading on yesterday

i was reading some pdf on 12-8-2013
but i lost the name of the file.
so that i am not able to get that file.
is there any command for get the previous pdf which i was reading in that day?

Making some assumptions here, but assuming you are on Fedora 19, and used evince to read your PDF, you could click on the cog / gear icon in the top right corner of evince, and see if the PDF is listed in the "Recent".

If you downloaded it from the internet, firefox may have also put the file in the Downloads directory in your home directory.

Finally, you may be able to open the "Files" file browser, and click on the "Recent Files" in the left hand pane, and see if your PDF is listed there.

I would use the find command:

find ~ -iname '*.pdf' -atime -2 \! -atime -1

The -atime means access-time, while the -2 means less than 48 hours ago, the \! means exclude files which are accessed -1 less than 24 hours ago.
