Hi all,

I downloaded the latest Fedora I could find (for testing) and it's asking me for a login and password. I've tried all the following with both blank passwords and with login = password: "root", "liveusb", "livecd", "user", "admin", and none of them work! I've scoured the wiki and Google... I haven't found any concrete answers. How do I get this thing to install? Thanks!

For live images, the usernames for root and ordinary user are "root" and "liveuser", resp. In both cases, the password should be unnecessary. That's when the images are working properly - with Rawhide, there's no guarantee.

Thank you. I examined the kickstart .ks files and discovered "liveuser", and that still did not work.... but yeah, I think you're right, that the images are just not functioning perfectly. I appreciate your response!
