I did an upgrade from Fedora 18 to 19 with fedup. Everything went good, but the loginscreen is corrupted and the text is hardly visible How can I change this?

Could be a graphics driver issue. What graphics card do you have? What graphics driver are you using (eg, is it the default Fedora driver, or did you install a proprietary driver from NVIDIA/ATI)?

[root@LinuxPC jan]# lspci|grep -i vga 01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] RS690 [Radeon X1200]

more information: when i login as root, the screen is normal, when i login as user the screen is split in different sort of triangles and the text is hardly visible. I cannot upload a printscreen
