Hi there, great you are new to Fedora. I think I can help you. Just Follow these steps:

Open a new terminal (Apps -> System Tools -> Terminal ) type: su then enter your root password Then copy an paste line by line and press enter after copy each line:

yum -y install httpd service httpd start chkconfig --levels 235 httpd on

yum -y install mysql mysql-server mysql-devel mysql-bench mysql-libs mysql-workbench chkconfig --levels 235 mysqld on /etc/init.d/mysqld start

choose a password for mysql and replace ${MYSQL_PASS} on the next 2 lines

mysqladmin -u root password ${MYSQL_PASS} mysqladmin -h localhost -u root password ${MYSQL_PASS}

yum -y install php php-cli php-common php-devel php-eaccelerator php-gd php-imap php-ldap php-magickwand php-magpierss php-mapserver php-mbstring php-mcrypt php-mhash php-mssql php-mysql php-mysql php-odbc php-pdo php-pear php-pear-Image-Canvas php-pear-Image-Color php-pear-Image-Graph php-pear-Numbers-Roman php-pear-Numbers-Words php-shout php-snmp php-soap php-tidy php-xml php-xmlrpc t1lib php-adodb

Sites normally at located at /etc/var/www You have to access to that folder as root, then you can create your sites there. You can manage your mysql databases with MySQL Workbench which we installed before.

I think you can use Zend Framework without a problem... may be you have to install some particular library but you can find help on Zend site.

let me know if I can help you with another thing.

Paul

When I just copy all my web sites from windows xampp, Zend Framework sites get error 404 on site navigate, to fix that problem just find httpd.conf in and change "AllowOverride None" to "AllowOverride All".
