I would like to know how I can turn of the animated mouse pointers that are used in KDE. What I am talking about is when I click on something just to the right of the mouse pointer there is a little graphic that jumps up and down until the item loads. I want to stop that little graphic and just have the mouse pointer.

Not animated cursors in general, but for application start: systemsettings->application&system notifications->launch feedback
