can't start firefox

i can't start firefox. here is the output from terminal.

(process:14090): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion `sys_page_size == 0' failed
edit retag flag offensive close merge delete

I get the same output here, with a working firefox.

try rename or remove foobar.default and profiles.ini in ~/.mozilla/firefox

Try using a new profile.

I'm on Fedora 19 too. After install Adobe Flash plugin, Firefox takes several seconds to load and I got the same Glib failed message as you.

The message is not relevant to the problem. As @ffabreti and I demonstrated, that message is seen with a functional firefox as well as a non-functional one. Look elsewhere for the problem.

Try the following command which starts firefox with disabled third-party extensions

firefox -safe-mode
edit flag offensive delete link more

start it without the terminal, like in windows
